It‘s 7 in the morning and Fish Hoek Bay has just opened again after two days of mandatory closure. Tyna Webb, a 77-year-old retired English teacher, sets out for her regular morning swim - a routine she has maintained for the past 17 years.
Tina, who loved to stay fit, would swim at the bay routinely at least six times a week, dedicating 30 to 45 minutes to each session. On this particular day, however, little does she know as she slipped into her swimsuit, donning her favorite red cap, that this will be her last morning swim.
Tina dives into the water and swims out against the shore for about 60 yards, smoothly stroking her way along the surface of the crystal blue waters and begins making her usual laps parallel to the beach line.
The weather is calm with a gentle wind blowing from south to southeast, which in turn create no whitecaps to mask the sound of her splashing arms and leg- a strong attractant for curious sharks….

Then, when the directors needed more of Seychelles’ gorgeousness, they rushed over to Eden Island to sneak in a few more dazzling scenes!
