Ingredients:
soft Chicken
Blend with 1 1/2 cup water : 2 pieces ginger, 4 garlic cloves, 1/2 an onion)
Add salt
Add 1 chicken seasoning cube
1 tbsp full all purpose seasoning
1 tbsp tomato purée or paste
2 onions
2 scotch bonnet
1 can plum tomato or 2 fresh tomatoes ( if using fresh tomatoes please cook it to gether with onions and peppers)
2 litre water or more
Mushrooms
1 chicken cube
Salt
plantain fufu mix

Business Now Project Zaira Rasool
Our Vessel UK leader Zaira Rasool delivered her project ‘Business Now’ in The Gambia in 2018. The project focused on developing the skills and capacity of Gambians that were already leading small local businesses.

hello everyone and welcome to today's video where we are going to talk about how how to grow ground nuts also known as peanuts so conditions necessary for the growth of peanuts first and foremost ground nuts or peanuts grow best in the tropics in altitudes of over 1500 meters they also need medium amounts of rainfall of about 550 millimeters there are many varieties available in the market with some of them including red Orienta and manipinta okay money painter the large ones then the red orientals are the small ones but the names can vary depending on the region where you are from now let's talk about how to plant ground nuts so you need to plant them at their own set of the rainy season okay so you'll plant them in rows then you can space them around 25 centimeters apart those are ground nuts in one row then you can space two rows to be about 45 centimeters apart okay then the ground nuts will germinate after about two weeks then from then on you wait regularly then after about a month from when the germination occurs you'll do what is known as acting which is basically the process where you will dig the soil around the ground nuts to make it loose so that to allow for something known as pegging to occur okay which basically includes ground nuts growing from the stem and entering into the soil alternatively I think can also be done by digging the soil end placing it gently around the ground nuts that can also work then another important thing to know is that groundnuts are capable of making their own nitrogen because they are legumes so you don't need to provide nitrogenous fertilizer okay groundnuts are also less likely to be affected by diseases and pests as compared to most other plants your ground nuts will mature after about 100 days which is three months okay when they mature I dig them out dry them off and store them okay so that's all about groundnut farming see you guys in the next video
