What is Black Comedy? also known as dark comedy, it's a style of humour that downplays a controversial or disturbing subject which is generally considered taboo. In recent times this has been confused with African American comedies, where the majority of their cast is black, but I assure you that is a completely different genre of comedy.
Black Comedies usually focus on topics such as murder, prostitution, and mental illness, in which the humour comes in the form of sarcasm, cynicism or scepticism.

For the families of Tamia Botha in the Western Cape and Bokgabo Poo in Gauteng there has been no closure: the police haven’t arrested their killers. In Bokgabo’s case, the man last seen with her was acquitted in the Pretoria High Court last month. Tamia’s killer remains at large. In the most recent crime statistics, it was revealed that 293 children were murdered between April and June this year. That’s at least three children murdered every day. So, why are these cases not receiving the highest priority? Carte Blanche investigates.

Plot Theme::
Chanda lives a wealthy lifestyle in Jaipur along with her father, Thakur Dharam Singh, and mom. Since she is of marriageable age, her dad wants her to get married to a wealthy male of his choice, but she dislikes him. Arguments ensue at home and her dad slaps her, she falls down and passes out. When she regains her senses she finds herself in a hospital in Bombay with her dad at her bedside, who tells her that she was unconscious for 3 days, apologizes and promises never to pressurize her to get married. She forgives him and they return home. A few days later she gets a visitor, a male Akashwani singer by the name of Raj Kumar, who claims to be her husband, calls her by the name of Rekha, and wants her to accompany him back to Bombay where he lives in a Chawl along with a two-bit Bollywood actor, Bansi. The question remains who is this male, and why is he claiming to be Chanda's husband?

Venky Full Length Movie Description : Venkateswarlu (Ravi Teja) is a wayward youth in Vizag who roams around with friends all the time. One day he along with his three buddies accidentally gets selected in police selections. Venky and his friends embark on a journey from Vizag to Hyderabad to join police academy for the training. He falls in love with a co-passenger Sravani (Sneha) aboard the train. Srvani refuses the instant proposal of Venky. He also picks up a row in a state of inebriation with Sravani's father and another girl and threatens them that he would kill them. And surprisingly, Sravani's father and other girl found dead on their berths on the next day morning. After realizing that they would be blamed for a murder committed by somebody else, Venky and his gang slips off from the train and join the police training academy.

There they realize that their boss Yogendra Sharma (Ashutosh Rana) is responsible for the murders in the train. Why does Yogendra want to kill Sravani and her father is the mysterious question that would be solved by Venky. Kalpana is a 2012 Kannada comedy horror film that stars Upendra, Saikumar and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. Film maker Rama Narayanan directed and produced this movie under his banner Sri Thenaandal Films. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana. Saikumar reprises the role of a transgender Kalpana, originally played by Sarath Kumar in the Tamil and Telugu versions.[3] Shruti and Umashri play supporting roles originally played by Devadarshini and Kovai Sarala.
The film was released across Karnataka on 28 September 2012 and opened to positive response from critics and audiences. The performances of Sai Kumar and Upendra have been critically acclaimed. The film did well at the box office[4] and was a 'Super Hit' in Mysore, Northern Karnataka, Chitradurga, Bellary districts,[5] while a 'Hit' in other parts of Karnataka.[6] Kalpana was the Sixth Highest Grossing Kannada film of 2012.[1] Upendra won the Udaya Film Award for Best Male Actor for his performance in the film.
