This session will delve into the challenges encountered by African member states in implementing water and sanitation-related targets and reporting progress to the African Union Assembly.
It further provides an analysis of the water and sanitation sector financial mechanisms in Africa, what is working and helping bring progress in the sector; experiences sharing from governments and financial institutions, philanthropies, private sector inclusion, and way forward for achieving SDG6 in Africa.
