African countries reacted swiftly to the COVID-19 crisis, allowing economies to reopen relatively quickly. But as advanced economies recover faster from the COVID-19 crisis, there is a risk that most sub-Saharan African countries will face weak recoveries for years to come.

The African Fiscal Forum, convened with the European Commission will bring together stakeholders to discuss a greener, smarter, and inclusive recovery, domestic revenue mobilization, international support, and equitable vaccine access and distribution.
