AFCON I Equatorial Guinea held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw

Minnows Equatorial Guinea held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in the second match of the Africa Cup of Nations currently underway in Ivory Coast.

The two sides earned a point apiece for their efforts.

They trail the Ivory Coast in the group after the host's victory against Guinea-Bissau in the opening match of the tournament last night.

Nigeria last won Afcon back in 2013 when the biennial tournament was played in South Africa.

And the Super Eagles also drew their opening match back then.
