AfDB cautiously optimistic given global uncertainty as it releases economic report for 2023

The African Development Bank recently released its macroeconomic outlook report for 2023. The bank sees a welcome recovery and economic resilience for African nations, in the short to medium term. However, it remains cautiously optimistic, given considerable global uncertainty. Professor Kevin Urama, Acting Chief Economist and Vice President for the Economic Governance and Knowledge Management Complex at the AfDB, shares his thoughts on the bank’s forecast.
