Three months ago, we hosted a four-day Video Shooting and Editing Training for 19 persons including persons with disabilities and non-disabled persons in Monrovia. During the training, participants acquired series of video shooting and editing skills including; shooting techniques, storing telling, hands-on storyboarding, scriptwriting, etc.
Rose Dagbe and Deboriah S. Foko are two disabled women that participated in the training. In this video, Rose and Deboriah talk about the impact of the training.
The training is part of #AIFO Coordinated Action on Disability in Liberia project, a project funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia.
AIFO-Liberia proposed to incorporate the use of video technology to increase awareness on People with Disabilities work and employment rights and build the capacity of Civil Society Organizations to respect, protect, and promote rights obligations toward People with Disabilities.
