Almost all Christians in Algeria are from a Muslim background. The law prohibits public assembly for purposes of practicing a faith other than Islam. Conversions to Christianity have been most common in Kabylie, especially in the province of Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria. A 2015 study, however, estimated 380,000 Muslims converted to Christianity in Algeria. Pray for Christians in Algeria, who face growing opposition and oppression. Pray for a strengthening of faith and a deep knowledge of the love and faithfulness of their Heavenly Father.
