Police in Papua New Guinea have recovered the bodies of tribesmen who were shot dead in what's being described as a massacre.

Police in Enga province said 26 men were killed on Sunday, near the town of Wabag in the northern highlands.
The government says there’s been a major escalation in tribal fighting with villagers wielding illegal weapons.

Al Jazeera’s Sarah Clarke reports.
