AWCON Champions To Receive R15m From South Africa's Sports Ministry
The big money keeps rolling in for African champions, #BanyanaBanyana.
After receiving their promised bonuses from the South African Football Association for winning the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, Banyana is set to get another big payday.
Their #5.MillionRand in additional bonuses promised by the government after the team's return from Morocco has now been increased to #15MillionRand.
Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa announced the increase on Tuesday.
