Romans 3:23 says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Sin is a nature of man but the Good News is that we now have dominion over it because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, redeeming us back to God.

God's goodness and provisions are available for us all to access even as we enjoy fellowship with Him.
However, these goodies can become partially available or utterly unavailable by our own doing when we shut the door.

Being cut off from God the source is tantamount to being shut off from His provisions just like a disobedient son to his father.
