BBC News - South African inventors show off their creations

South Africa is showcasing the continent's hottest and newest ideas at an Innovation Summit being held in Johannesburg.

It is hoped that supporting the inventors of "the next big thing" will help emerging economies and create new jobs.

The BBC's Will Ross visited the summit and met some of the creators behind ideas ranging from solar cookers to prosthetics.
