Building & Growing a Technological Startup in Cameroon || Opportunities for Partnership in Afric

Aaron Munga is a tech entrepreneur who has co-founded or has been an integral part of multiple innovative projects cutting across several verticals including Ecommerce, Fintech, Prop and Traveltech in Cameroon and the United Arab Emirates. He is originally from the North West region of Cameroon but is based in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Aaron’s background is Business and Finance, he holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and Business from Oxford Brookes University. Before becoming a full-time tech entrepreneur, he had worked as a Finance professional during which period he gained corporate experience from several industries including events management and exhibitions, hospitality, management consultancy, telecoms, audit and assurance.

From 2017 till present, Aaron has been very active in the startup ecosystems in both Cameroon and the United Arab Emirates. He founded Jump The Q which is a b2c ecommerce company in the UAE that helped grocery shoppers save time by having their grocery items delivered to them at home as opposed to having to queue up at checkout counters.

He is also the Co-founder and CEO of Mungenow Technologies which is a b2c technology startup in Cameroon that is leveraging on technology to build several platforms to provide value to users across several sectors including but not limited to classified ad listings, e-visa application, property search and local travel accommodation.

Also, Aaron is the Founder and CEO of Swychr which is sub–Saharan Africa’s first blockchain remittance mobile application which leverages blockchain and crypto tech to simplify remittances to and between African and other emerging market countries.
