CAMA Round Table Covid 19 Effects on Food Supply Chains and Future Trends | #CDFS20

The Global Pandemic has caused significant disruption to food supply chains, thankfully without causing significant long term disruptions in supply. As the OAC Chair in Food System Leadership, Mike has been a reliable advocate and resource to the industry, especially in recent months. Mike regularly acts as a subject matter expert for CBC/CTV’s news broadcasts, and was a key speaker in a 4-H virtual presentation early this spring sharing key information and providing understanding to over 400 4-H members who attended the online event. Mike will provide a current overview of the short term immediate impacts of the shutdown and then a discussion of what may change as we move forward. He will also highlight some top-level trends we can expect to see in the coming years.
