Tomorrow, 60 years ago, the Organisation of African Unity, now called the African Union, was formed. It was created to fight against colonialism, promote unity and protect the territorial integrity of member states in Africa.
Africa Day is celebrated across the continent and the diaspora, to reflect on the continent's journey over the years. President Cyril Ramaphosa is going to lead the main celebrations at the Cradle of Humankind, North West of Johannesburg.
