Comics in Tanzania. Collaborating with Tinga Tinga artists in Bagamoyo. The Great African Caravan.

In Tanzania I got an opportunity to work with local Tinga Tinga artists in the coastal town of Bagamoyo.
We stayed at the premises of Mototo Mochoraji who were kind enough to host us and connect us with the community. I decided to organize a comics workshop in collaboration with a local painter and sculptor - Mrisho under a mango tree nearby. In the workshop we explored the Tinga Tinga painting style and tried to draw stories from our life.
