★★ ABOUT US ★★
We, Jo and Leisa are twins. We are Jamaicans who now live in the UK.
We are both trained teachers, however we have since given up regular classroom teaching to pursue blogging and vlogging. Thankfully, we have still been able to teach through both those channels. And to be perfectly honest, we prefer teaching this way. No books and papers to mark and grade (we let you learn at your own pace), no senior management hoops to jump through (we like being our own boss anyway), and we can choose whenever we want to take a holiday and still be able to work whilst on holiday if we wish to.
We share a home together with three adult children.
Our passions include, crafting, traveling, cooking and sharing money saving tips with anyone who is willing to listen. We are by no means rich but we have learnt so much from growing up poor that we think we have the responsibility of sharing tips to help people spend their hard earned money wisely.
We have been privileged to share our tips on three series of a channel 4 television programme, Shop Smart Save Money, in BBC Good Food Magazine, and the Sun Newspaper. In addition, our blog and vlog always have some money-saving tip here and there.
