SPCA Chief Inspector Andries Venter and Inspector Fox Marais investigate suspicious goings-on at a house in Woodstock, and uncover a pitbull fighting operation.

All the animals in the house are confiscated and the owner is placed under arrest. Trainee Inspector Wayne Hector confiscates six ponies when their owner fails to provide safe, clean stabling for them. Wildlife Inspector has to handle a prickly problem when a porcupine is trapped in a garden, and comes to the rescue of a seal in distress. After heavy rain Inspectors Conchita Milburn and Liz Pienaar save a dog from drowning in the floodwaters of a canal.
