If you have been following my channel, you know our family is super frugal and after my husband lost his job at the beginning of the year, we have been living on our bare-bones budget of just $1500/month. Stretching a $1500/month budget is getting harder, even while being being debt-free.
While wages have increased some over the years, they have not kept up with inflation - not even close. I have 2 teens who are trying to make a plan to move out and become independent soon. One will be 18 next year. We have been looking into how much it is going to cost her to move out, what her income will need to be, and how much she needs to have in savings ... and I don’t know how she is going to do it! Living is so expensive!
