The crisis at the Richards Bay Port Terminals has deepened, with the recent decision by Transnet to suspend coal loads to be processed at the port.
The decision to only process the cargo of trucks, whose shipping vessels have already been nominated for processing comes amid safety concerns and traffic congestion in Richards Bay and surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, truck drivers from Mpumalanga and North West say they're frustrated by a lack of communication between their employers and Transnet.
To talk more on this, we are joined via teams by Mike Walwyn, Director of the South African Association of Freight Forwarders.
