1. Big stores: They have these huge stores where they give you a ‘try before you buy’ experience, where you can try any sports equipment before buying. Whether it’s cycling, table tennis, or skating, they give you space to try out everything.
2. Sports leaders - You see people who assist you in decathlon stores, aren’t normal salesmen, they are athletes themselves and they are there to educate you about the game, not to sell anything.
3. Pricing - All the brands that you see inside a Decathlon store, are owned by them. So they have complete control over the supply chain and this allows them to pass on this cost value to their customers.
