Delta Days in the Bronx: Senior care & Services

Delta Days in the Bronx was modeled after Delta Days in the Nation’s Capital, a national initiative of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Beginning in 1989, the National Social Action Commission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. instituted an annual legislative conference attended by members of the organization. It’s purpose is to increase member involvement in the national public policy making process. Some activities include briefings on legislative issues, observing legislators in session, participation in the congressional Black caucus town hall, and attending informative workshops impacting the African-American Community.

The Bronx Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. thought it ideal to create a similar forum to deliver important and impactful information to our community members. We want our neighbors to be informed and involved. It is our hope you learn something new and, more importantly, share what you learn with your family member, neighbor, or friend.

Together we can uplift our community to build a better Bronx!
