Internationalization is an essential component for colleges and universities to prepare all students to succeed in the global 21st century. Join EducationUSA for a discussion on strategies to strengthen and advocate for internationalization efforts at minority-serving institutions (MSIs), led by an expert panel from a historically Black college and university (HBCU), a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI), and two higher education associations that support international initiatives at member institutions. Participants will come away with compelling ideas to consider as well as examples for how to effectively make the case for campus internationalization to institutional leadership in the MSI context.

MODERATOR:
Erin Baldwin, Associate Director, Programs & Global Initiatives, American Council on Education
PANELISTS:
Lisa Alcorta, Ph.D., Senior Vice President for Programs and Operations, Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU)
Dafina Blacksher Diabate, Ed.D., Director, Office of International Programs, Lincoln University
Lawrence Schovanec, Ph.D, President, Texas Tech University
