EGYPS 2023: The African Energy Commission sees energy as key to Africa's economic development

In an exclusive studio interview from EGYPS 2023, Julian Walker sat down with Rashid Abdallah, Executive Director of The African Energy Commission (AFREC), to discuss how Africa needs to develop itself and how energy is going to be key for the economic development of Africa. Rashid also touched on the African Union’s Agenda 2063 which is very ambitious but it cannot be achieved without energy. That is why Africa’s energy industry needs to attract investment for exploration and for cross-border trading.
