Egypt to double size of its new administrative capital

Egypt is preparing to spend billions of dollars doubling the size of its new capital in the desert, east of Cairo, where the first residents are already trickling in.
The city is the biggest of a series of mega-projects that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi says are needed for economic development and to accommodate a growing population of 105 million people.
