You could call it 'Extreme Makeover: Egyptian Pyramid Edition.' The Menkaure pyramid on the outskirts of Cairo is undergoing renovations, which Egypt is calling the “project of the century.”

But the restoration plans are being met with dismay from critics, who believe the project is just a misguided pyramid scheme.
