Ethiopia announces pardons for high-profile political prisoners

The Ethiopian government has announced it will pardon a number of high-profile political prisoners, including members of the rebel Tigray People's Liberation Front.
Officials in the capital, Addis Ababa, say it is time to promote national dialogue after more than a year of conflict in the north.
