European Cows at Animal Markets in Morocco (2020)

Animals' Angels discovers European 'dairy' cows at Moroccan markets during field investigations in October and December 2019.


Germany always claims that "only" 'breeding' animals are exported to non-EU countries such as Morocco. But what is not mentioned in this context: also these 'breeding' animals are not granted any animal welfare guarantees in these countries. They are sold, transported and slaughtered under catastrophic and cruel conditions, as our research on site has shown.
