Fashion Innov.1 is an initiative of the Ministry of Industrial Development, SME and cooperatives in collaboration with the Economic Development Board of Mauritius with the ultimate goal of introducing, promoting, and advocating for sustainable fashion.

Fashion & Design Institute of Mauritius presented a panache silver lining catwalk embracing the rich heritage and cultural diversity while reflecting the evolution and modernization of Mauritius.

The thriving collection features emerging designers from FDI-Mauritius creating pieces that interpret the history of the island in various eras. Each of them is a piece of art fusion with a primitive statement. Launching the first Fashion Innov.1 is a great achievement and prestige for Mauritius.
