Government to decide whether South Africa cuts all ties with Israel

It will now be up to the government to decide whether South Africa cuts all ties with Israel.
The National Assembly has adopted an EFF motion to close the Israeli Embassy and cut all diplomatic ties with that country, but the motion is not binding and the government has the final say on its implementation.
The EFF motion was debated last week and voted on late yesterday. To talk more on this, we are joined by Sisa Ngombane, former Ambassador to Israel who is currently an Ambassador to Madagascar.
