Hair extensions date back to Cleopatra. Believe it or not, the first documented proof of weaves was in Egypt in the year 3400 BC. Many Egyptian women wore wigs, sewn-on hair pieces and braids made of human hair and dyed wool. Of course things are very different today. But the one constant is the popularity of extensions. CGTN's Alexandria Majalla takes a look at Kenya's synthetic hair industry.
