Professor Craig McIntosh (UC San Diego) visited Stanford University on November 4, 2015 to share lessons learned about why new technology adoption among smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa succeeds or fails. Professor McIntosh's lecture was part of the Food and Nutrition Policy Symposium Series sponsored by Stanford University's Center on Food Security and the Environment (FSE). FSE deputy director David Lobell introduced Professor McIntosh and FSE center fellow Marshall Burke moderated the discussion. FSE's full portfolio of research, publications, and events can be found at: http://fse.fsi.stanford.edu.
