Kenya to host next AFDB annual meeting in May 2023;4,000 delegates expected in Nairobi for the forum

Climate change mitigation and adaptation and reforms in the global financial system architecture will top the agenda at the upcoming African Development Bank Annual Meeting top be held in Kenya next year. National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Prof. Njuguna Ndungu says Kenya will push for rechannelling of the Special Drawing Rights to developing countries through Multilateral Development Banks to address infrastructure challenges, food insecurity and unemployment.
