KFCB to promote production of movies in the East African region

The Kenya Film Classification Board is partnering with institutions of higher learning to promote the production of decent content for the booming movie industry in the East African region. Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ezekiel Mutua says young film makers need to be steered in the right direction to ensure they produce films that are accepted across cultures. His sentiments come against the backdrop of encouraging statistics which show that Kenya’s entertainment industry is expected to grow by 8.5% in the next five years.
