Kogi State Maintains Clear Lead in Nigeria, to Become Hub of Africa - State Govt

The State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, who disclosed this to journalists in Lokoja, says efforts are ongoing to make Kogi the cashew hub of Africa.
According to him, Kogi State is the biggest producer of Cashew in Nigeria because of its good policies geared towards empowering farmers with improved seedlings, mechanisation and creating an enabling environment for the private sector to invest in Cashew production.
He also noted that Governor Yahaya Bello is scaling up to improving the value chain in cashew production in the state and the State is also doing very well in the area of Cassava production.
