La Cuvette Beach, Fruits Confits Mauritian Style | Grand Baie, Mauritius

I made this video on a rainy day at La Cuvette Beach which is located in the North of Mauritius.

The video shows a Mauritian fruit seller selling the traditional pickled fruits, called "fruit confits" on the island which is sold as a street food. The "merveille" is also shown which is a pastry sold with different Mauritian style chutneys that can be tomato, mango or frisitère (also known as golden apple in the Caribbeans).
