Lesotho hosts the 60th Southern African Power Pool

The Kingdom of Lesotho is hosting the 60th Southern African Power Pool.

The SAPP was created in 1995 at the SADC summit held in Kempton Park in South Africa.

Member states signed an intergovernmental memorandum of understanding for the formation of the electricity power pool in the region.
