Lesotho MP proposes reclamation of Basotho territory in South Africa

Earlier this week, a motion was raised in the Parliament of Lesotho regarding the declaration of the Free State, parts of the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Northern Cape as Lesotho's territory that should be reclaimed. Member of the opposition, Dr Tsepo Lipholo, says the motion is in line with the 1817 resolution of the United Nations General Assembly passed during a plenary meeting of its 17th session on the 18th December, 1962.
