Libya

Libya (Arabic: ليبيا, Lībyā), officially Libya, is a country in North Africa. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Tunisia and Algeria to the west, Niger to the southwest, Chad to the south, and Egypt and Sudan to the southeast and east.

Libya has been a major oil producer and exporter for about four decades, which has raised the living standards of its people. At present, Libya has been declared the population with the highest life expectancy in Africa (but in number of units it is surpassed only by the British island of St. Helena), namely 74 years.
