Here is a folk song of the traditional Libyan Malouf style of music. The Malouf is an artistic Arabic music tradition that originates from 9th-15th century Andalusia, Spain. The malouf (also spelled Maluf, Maloof) was brought by Andalusian migrants to parts of Arab North Africa, such as Libya. The Malouf is presently a central musical style in Libyan culture.
