Lwazi Duma's short Film | Forbidden Taste | NEFT Africa 2023 Finalist

“Forbidden Taste,” is set in 1960 apartheid South Africa where interracial sexual relations and alcohol consumption were strictly prohibited. The story follows a black and white couple who meet to share a forbidden drink only to discover that both couples are unfaithful to one another. Lwazi Duma is a self-made filmmaker who grew up in the rural village of Umgangeni South Coast of Durban. He has been doing short films for more then ten years and likes raising awareness about issues faced by our environment through documentary filmmaking.
