Mali teams up with his Videographer Nexmedia on 2nd official music video entitled “Badmind Us “. This song was created by Mali through the painful emotions of life’s atrocities, struggles, experiences et etc. the song clearly speaks about reaching super stardom and going on your way to the top and the consequences that come with being on the top by just doing the right thing following the right trajectory you still will get hated , judged or even discriminated by the people around you because of your elevation it is said to say no matter how good you do it is not good enough for some people because some people are bitter and miserable with themselves they can’t be proud of other people’s success and that is why they never get a chance to rise. There is a saying that goes " Misery Loves Company and it goes hand in hand with the "Crab inna Barrel Mentality". Mali was going through a phase in life where he just wanted to address the negavity, Badmind,jealousy and envy. However even though these Traits are frivolous they can damage one’s mental health cause when u embody these negative traits it comes with anger and grief and can make you act out of character because of your own bitterness. In addition, we all lived through the phase of Badmind, it maybe a case when we started up a lil buisness, got a new job, or a promotion it caused other people to feel bitter and unhappy for us. Badmind is something that everyone faces but it is how you decide to manoeuvre it that counts. On the other hand Mali also addressed a friend killer situation in the third verse of this song where one of of his close imperative family members passed away through a murder situation so it created boiling emotions in the dancehall star's life causing him to voice a third verse on this track with aggression. This song is very powerful it speaks about the prevalence of Badmind in our communities/societies. This song highly endorses the elevation of people especially the ghetto youths it doesn’t matter if you are a cart man , bus driver, a toilet paper seller etc etc most important thing Mali respects everyone’s hustle and he knows all the service done by others helps each one of us interchangeably and with should treat everyone’s hustle with respect cause we’re all making progress in a major or subtle way and it really doesn’t matter since it’s better for us to join hands and help Each other and to go against badmind and this way will influence our youths to live more loving and caring with deep compassion and empathy for each other by us leading with the right examples.However the youths are the future we should grow them right so this world would be a better place. Mali also highly dislikes badmind so he goes heavily against it by practicing and living up to Godly Qualities. Mali finishes by saying “Bun Badmind” a dialect used in the Caribbean which is originated from Jamrock and is also used in other Caribbean islands like St.Vincent and it means get away badmind/negativity in other words we don’t entertain negativity we more embraced positivity and learn from the negativity in society."
