Chaochao draws insights from extensive research on the topic of introverts’ career development and her personal experiences traversing through several types of roles that were stereotyped as atypical for introverts. This class dispels the myth that introverts may not be best suited for a career in product management due to its highly people-oriented nature.

Masterclass 3 main takeaways:
1) There is a myth that introverts are not well-suited for a career in product management, this myth needs to be dispelled
2) Introverts’ attention to detail, strong discipline in execution and deep insights in human behavior can uniquely position them for success as product managers
3) We encourage our fellow introverts to stay true to themselves but also challenge themselves to exert their opinions, intentionally seek out opportunities in product vision-setting and developing/mentoring junior PMs to continue growing into product leadership roles
