Mauritius and UK launch sovereignty talks over Chagos Islands

Mauritian prime minister Pravind Jugnauth announced Sunday (Jan. 1st), that his country and Britain began talks on the sovereignty of the disputed archipelago. The PM's New Year's address announcement comes after the countries' prime ministers met at the UN General Assembly last September.
