Hajia Maminetu Akogu, known professionally as Madam Eke Ekele. She is a singer and performer by her Dance and extensive use of the call-and-response vocal structure that is typical of the traditional music of many sub-Saharan African peoples, including the Igala.

She is regarded as one of the first musicians to gain national success like Muhammed Onalo (Paul Idi) Hajia Rekiya Anwere, Baba Tokula, Shehu Ebiloma, Abdul Ayoky, Rabi Alijenu and Tijay Bala, Tenimu Foreign and the likes in Igala Kingdom.

Musicians are known to express themselves through song and melody to convey how they’re feeling in life, which allows listeners to relate and find comfort in the music.

Music prompts people in every culture around the world to dance and express how they feel in which HAJIA EKE performance in this album is not an exception.

Also the ambition of this project is to have a channel in which our culture and value will be harmonize.

Out target is to look at the future with it refine assessment of the past.
