Determined to not let the lack of clothing and toiletries affect the start to my travels in East Africa, I headed out early and walked the road from my hotel to the centre of capital city, Moroni.

Along the way I met some of the Comorian people and even stopped off to watch a group of them play football on one of the most interesting pitches I’ve ever seen.

In addition to interacting with the Comoros locals, I show you what to do in Moroni including Volo Volo Market, the National Museum of Comoros and Ancienne mosquée du Vendredi (Old Friday Mosque).
