•I don’t know who composed this one, if you do, kindly let me know in the comments. (I only know it’s one of those traditional hymns.)
•Hymn No. D34 in the hymn book “Tinokutendai Mambo || dzimbo dzekirike katorike” (1962-2011 edition).
•It is a song for *Holy Communion*. In summary I would translate this to: “Soul of my saviour sanctify my breast (or Anima Christi as I am told). Body and blood of Jesus Christ fill my heart with joy...so that my sins may be forgiven...protect me from evil and uplift me to sing with the angles so that I can sing with them in heaven”. UPDATE: My translation is in the subtitles.
