“Libya, Libya, Libya” is the national anthem of the Kingdom of Libya from 1955 to 1969
It was composed by Mohammed Abdel Wahab in 1951, and the lyrics were composed by Al Bashir Al Arebi
It was relinquished in 1969 when Muammar Gaddafi overthrew King Idris I of Libya, and was replaced by Walla Zaman Ya Selahy ( Eng: “It’s been a long time. Oh my weapon!”)
It was again readopted in 2011 as the national anthem of the State of Libya after Gaddafi was overthrown.
