2013
Composer Edmund Bourne holds a special place among New Apostolic Christians in the Southern Africa region. His musical contributions have not only enriched their worship experiences but have also resonated deeply within the hearts of believers. One of his most renowned compositions, "Christmas in Cape Town," has become an integral part of the Christmas celebrations for the New Apostolic community. Additionally, his dedication to creating uplifting music has extended to the younger generation, as evidenced by his composition "A Song for You," crafted specifically for children's choirs.
This item was performed at the Silvertown Auditorium in Athlone, Cape Town on Saturday 02 March 2013. Focusing on the service for the departed, the concert program highlighted the following themes: Jesus Christ, Grace and redemption and our eternal home. These themes were expressed through a variety of music, from arrangements of traditional hymns to contemporary compositions.
